NFL Week Eleven Preview: Oakland Raiders at Minnesota Vikings
at
Unless someone's still carrying a grudge from Super Bowl XI, this coming Sunday's Raiders-Vikings game has all the drama of a high school production of "Our Town." Or for that matter "High School Musical."
The Raiders will be catching a huge break in that rookie superstud running back Adrian Peterson will be out with a knee injury, thus reducing Minnesota's offense to pretty much nothing. The Vikings are even worse at throwing the ball than the Raiders, and without Peterson the running game is also nil. As to the Raiders, this weekend it'll be Daunte Culpepper's chance to yell "hut hut hike" and then run for his life behind an offensive line that has for whatever reason fallen apart. The defense should have little trouble keeping the Vikings at bay. Minnesota's defense is anemic, so should the Raiders get anything at all going when they have the ball, good things could happen. Which would be a most welcome change from the past several weeks.
