NFL Week Ten Wrap-up: Chicago Bears at Oakland Raiders

You know, when your defense gives up only seventeen points with the final seven coming from the other team recovering a fumble at your three yard line, you really ought to win.

Unfortunately, on offense the Raiders have reverted to their form of last year.  The offensive line couldn't pass-block to save their lives, the ground game was inconsistent, and on those occasions when the quarterback (in this case Josh McCown) did have time to throw, he was very bad at it.  Hence Oakland's scoring consisting of two field goals.

While the Raider Nation continues baying for JaMarcus Russell, let's be honest here.  Do you really want the franchise's future lining up behind the line as it's currently playing?  Try to put it together this year, in the off-season focus on overhauling and upgrading since it's quite apparent the current five can't get the job done, and come 2008 have Russell playing in a situation other than his sole call being hut hit hike watch me run for my life.

The next game is this coming Sunday at Minnesota.
